The wiiw Handbook of Statistics 2009 is a unique compilation of detailed macroeconomic and structural indicators on 18 countries in Central, East and Southeast Europe.

Countries covered: Albania, Baltic States, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, CEE, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, SEE, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine

The handbook is published annually and contains revised, updated and expanded annual and monthly statistics. Time series and related tables are extracted from the Annual, Monthly and Industrial Databases as well as the Database on Foreign Direct Investment maintained and regularly updated by wiiw.

NEW features in the 2009 edition:
  • 18 countries covered in detail, more colour graphs added
  • Structural indicators available also for the Baltic States, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Key indicators compiled for all countries allow for cross-country comparisons and comparisons with the EU at a glance
  • Longer time series accessible in MS Excel format permit a wide range of individual analyses and compilations with most data available from 1990
